As we slog ever closer to the November 22 release date of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Lionsgate would be remiss not to hurl one trailer after another to a fanbase that’s already primed and ready to see the film over and over and over again, anyway. And so, of course, we begin our week with news of a new (and final) The Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer.
A fairly short, teaser-length ad (it barely makes it past the one minute mark), the ad essentially highlights the badassery that is Capless Evenspleens (because in the future everyone has weird names and wears silver spandex, alright?) as she variously shoots and/or yells at things, or wears a suit that literally catches fire (hey, just like the title, you guys!), or faces some angry monkeys. Nothing really revelatory, but it still functions as a serviceable “hey, don’t forget to spend a ton of money seeing our movie a whole bunch this fall!” advertisement:
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Donald Sutherland. It is set for a November 22 release date.
What do you think of the trailer?
