Captain America: The Winter Soldier finally has a new poster, and this time, it isn’t just a teaser of a shield. The new one-sheet highlights Captain America’s new digs, who he’s working for, and that fact that his suit is still goofy as all hell.
In the poster, Captain America looks to be jumping out of a SHIELD helicarrier over Washington D.C. Because if there’s one thing Steve Rogers does, it’s leap from airplanes while dressed like Evel Knievel.
In the film, Chris Evans stars as Captain America, who has spent his post-The Avengers time living in Washington D.C. and getting used to living in a modern world. But after an assault against SHIELD, Captain America teams up with Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and the Falcon (Anthony Mackie), a guy who can fly and speak telepathically with birds. Which, yes, is as stupid as it sounds.
But that’s not all—soon Captain America will face down the Winter Soldier, Steve Rogers’ best friend from the first film who has been brainwashed into an assassin.
But hey, enough talk, here’s the poster:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is set for an April 4, 2014 release date.
