First off, let me just say that I’m incredibly happy to see a new poster pop up with the actual villain for Thor: The Dark World. Up until this point we’ve barely seen any sort of advertising on Malekith (played by Christopher Eccleston), which is really strange considering he’s supposed to be our main villain. This may just be an international poster but it gives us a better look at our cool and sinister villain and our obvious heroes.

In Thor: The Dark World we find the world of Asgard dealing with a new threat as a terrifying dark elves army threatens to destroy not only the mythical realm but Earth as well. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is reluctant to do so but must ask for the aide from his mischievous brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in order to save both worlds. Now in the trailers it’s quite obvious that Loki will more than likely turn on his brother like he has before. It’s in his nature to do so.

But how will he be able to handle himself when facing Malekith, the leader of the dark elves army? In some ways I really do hope that Malekith shuts Loki down, just so it can piss off the fanboys/fangirls who have been salivating over him for the past couple of years. Loki is cool and all but let us not forget that there are other villains out there in the Marvel universe. Thor: The Dark World comes out in theaters on November 8th.

What are you looking forward to seeing the most in Thor: The Dark World?
