Finally, Showtime has released a real trailer for the highly-anticipated third season of Homeland. The emotional trailer gives us a lot, and we mean a lot. (See it below.) Also, The Exorcist TV series is finally moving forward with Fantastic Four screenwriter Jeremy Slater. More details on that below. We also have a new trailer for the upcoming season of American Horror Story and the comic book The Star Wars. All that and more below.

  • Leonardo DiCaprio To Play King Herald?: Leonardo DiCaprio wants to portray historical figures. Besides showing interest in playing the mad monk Rasputin, Slashfilm reports that he’ll be portraying the Viking ruler in King Harald. He will also produce via his Appian Way banner. Norse King Harald III is regarded as the last great Viking king, whose death closed the viking age. He is most famous for leading Norway’s invasion of Denmark and also storming the shores of England in 1066. Word is that DiCaprio has been interested in this project for years. While he hasn’t been announced as the star of the film yet, chances are that if he wants the role he’ll get it. He’s Leo DiCaprio after all.
  • The Exorcist Heading To TV: The Exorcist is looking to possess our televisions. According to ComingSoon, the classic 1973 is getting a small screen adaptation from Fantastic Four scribe Jeremy Slater. Details are few, but we also know that Bates Motel‘s Roy Lee is attached to executive produce.
  • Back to The Future Old-Age Makeup: Wanna see if the makeup artists of Back To The Future did their job right? Well Cinemablend has posted some photos which compare the old age makeup in the popular movie to how Lea Thompson, Thomas F. Wilson and Crispin Glover actually look now. Check it out.


  • Homeland Trailer: Earlier this week we saw a teaser trailer for the upcoming season of Homeland. Today, Showtime dropped the actual trailer, which actually shows us footage from the third season. The show returns on September 29. Check it out:

  • Teaser Trailer For American Horror Story: The upcoming season of American Horror Story is set in New Orleans, and follows a multi-generational group of witches. FX has released the first teaser trailer, check it out. (The show returns in October.)

  • The Star Wars Trailer: The Star Wars is an upcoming Dark Horse comic that shares George Lucas‘ original vision for the 1977 classic. A trailer for the comic has hit the web, and it’s really quite interesting. It introduces a new character and shows us a different-looking Hans Solo. Check it out:


  • Don Jon Poster: Don Jon is the directorial debut of actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who also stars in the movie. His cast also includes Scarlett Johnasson, Tony Danza, Julianne Moore, Brie Larson and Glenne Headly. The film hits theaters September 27. Here’s the latest poster:
