Despite the fact that we know next to nothing about the mysterious film’s plot, one thing we do know about Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar is who will be starring in it. We’ve known for some time that Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, and—because of course—Michael Caine would be appearing in the film, and recently reported the news that Casey Affleck and Topher Grace would be joining their ranks. Now, we’ve got the newest addition to the cast: Wes Bentley.
Further, according to reports, Bentley was the “final member of the cast to get locked into place,” meaning that Interstellar sounds like it’s moving into the final stages of pre-production. Not much else is known about the role (of course) beyond the fact that it is “a meaty supporting role.” Add that to the briefest of plot sketches that has been released—the film will deal with a crew of astronauts who face some sort of time travel/ multiple dimension travel via a wormhole or black hole, based on the theories of physicist Kip Thorne—and you have the sum total of all information released about the film up to this point.
Interstellar is set for a November 7, 2014 release date.
