breaking bad walt

Unfortunately, Breaking Bad’s panel at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con was pretty light on spoilers—though audiences did get an exclusive preview of the first two minutes of the final season premiere, “Blood Money”—there were no leaks or hints about who would live or die, will Jesse discover the extent of Walt’s dark influence in his life, how will Hank handle the shocking revelations at the end of the last year’s final episode, and what exactly was Walt doing when he bought that giant machine gun.  There was, however, a thing called a “Countdown Mashup Trailer.”

Before you get too excited, know this: “Countdown Mashup Trailer,” roughly translated, means “hey, here’s a trailer that features no footage from any of the new episodes, but is a pretty well-edited and still kind of awesome trailer featuring every major moment from the past five seasons.”  So if you don’t feel like catching up on the last five seasons of Breaking Bad by going through each and every episode, here’s a quick and brutal primer to refresh your memory and bring you up to speed for the final episodes:

The final season of Breaking Bad will begin airing on AMC on August 11.
