Likely the worst-kept secret at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con (thanks to repeated appearances of the Sentinels) was the fact that the gargantuan cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past (comprised of members from the original X-Men trilogy as well as X-Men: First Class), along with director Bryan Singer would show up in Hall H during the 20th Century Fox press conference. And, of course, they did show up, with what was likely the largest cast gathering to ever congregate in Hall H.
The massive cast came out at the end of the conference (following The Wolverine panel), and while no major news breaks or spoilers were leaked—though Peter Dinklage did confirm that he will be playing Boliver Trask, the guy who runs Trask Industries and makes the dreaded Sentinels—rough cut footage from the film was displayed, featuring the two casts interacting via time travel. You’ll probably need to squint a bit.
X-Men: Days of Future Past stars Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Halle Bery, Omar Sy, Anna Paquin, Nicholas Hoult, and many more. It is set for a May 23, 2014 release date.
