These are the kind of things that make Comic-Con so very, very special. Today, during the Marvel Panel at Hall H, Tom Hiddleston showed up as his Thor/Avengers character, Loki, and completely dominated the crowd. Watch the video below.
Besides the major news that came our today’s Marvel panel (ahem, Joss Whedon‘s announcement that the official title of Avengers 2 will be Avengers: Age of Ultron), there was one awesome treat for those people who camped out last night. After Marvel president Kevin Feige mentioned Thor: The Dark World, all of Hall H went pitch black and a voice said, “Humanity… look how far you’re fallen. Lining up in the heat… chattering together in the dark… like beasts!” Those words came from one Tom Hiddleston, who decided to appear in character as Loki. Check it out:
There are so many great things about this cameo appearance. For one, it just goes to show, that Tom Hiddleston needs his own movie. He’s all kinds of awesome (he literally memorized his speech and said in front of 6,000 people). Also, people are way too easily convinced by evil Englishmen (many who were at Hall H during this say that people were actually kneeling). Oh well it’s all part of the fun, right? Remember, Thor: The Dark World arrives in theaters November 8.
What do you think? Will you join Loki’s army?
