We’ve seen the cool new design for Electro for The Amazing Spider-Man 2but the most we’ve seen out of the second villain, The Rhino, was of him in his human form. While the latest on-set pictures of The Rhino aren’t too impressive to look at, they at least give us a better understanding on how huge the character will be once he’s all CG-ed up.

One of the trickiest things about dealing with multiple villains is how the film is able to balance the two and still have enough story to keep the audience wrangled in from start to finish. It’s been done before in recent years with movies like The Dark Knight and other superhero movies where they try to cram in at least two popular villains into the mix just to keep our protagonists on his/her toes throughout the duration of the film. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is no exception as Peter Parker is not only faced with the threat of Electro, but that of The Rhino. Will the two villains possibly team up? There is a chance they could, but we won’t find out until the movie comes out next year to figure that out.

Paul Giamatti probably had to be one of the most surprising casting choices of the sequel to the Marvel reboot. We’ve seen the actor play a variety of roles, from goofy (Shoot Em Up) to serious (Cinderella Man). Sooner or later a good chunk of A-list actors make their way into the superhero realm, so it was merely a matter of time. Check out a couple new pictures of Giamatti in his Rhino pre-CG garb. Which villain are you looking forward to seeing the most in The Amazing Spider-Man 2?
