While everybody is buzzing with anticipation over who will be in X-Men: Days of Future Past, they’ve seem to have forgotten all about the other upcoming superhero sequel, The Wolverine. We haven’t seen too many images pop out for the origin sequel, but director James Mangold is kind enough to release a couple of pictures to the public. They aren’t much but at least they’ll get fans talking about the movie again.

What you’ll see below is three new portrait images that show a couple of the main characters from The Wolverine. The coolest thing about this is just getting a look at the ladies who are playing Yukio (Rila Fukushima) and Mariko Yashida (Tao Okamoto). For those of you who don’t know, these two ladies have a very significant impact on Wolverine’s (Hugh Jackman) life when he lived in Japan. On one side was Mariko, the daughter of a crime lord who turned out to be one of the big loves in Logan’s life. On the other side there’s Yukio, a carefree thief some-what affiliated with Silver Samurai and company but turns out to be a trusted ally of Wolverine.

There’s a lot more that happens to these three ladies but we don’t want to spoil The Wolverine for you. Since filming has wrapped on the upcoming origin film, we should be seeing more images or a trailer in the near future.
