G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the sequel no one wanted to the original film no one liked, is almost upon us. And seeing as how it was set for a June 29, 2012 release date before being held back to March 28th of this year so Paramount could slather it with 3D effects and add a massive amount of reshoots, it should be really, really great! And now that the release date is looming, here are some new clips of the overly-bronzed stars of the film, sweating and punching and shooting and talking loud at things.
First up, here’s Dwayne Johnson’s character saying things about Jay-Z because the kids like Jay-Z, right?
Next up, we’ve got Bruce Willis struggling to stay awake while giving a talking-head featurette. He mentions how excited he was to join the franchise, while putting forth a valiant effort to keep his eyes open while doing so.
Now, we’ve got a Snake Eyes vs. Storm Shadow clip. This is where I’m supposed to pretend like I know who either of these characters are. But hey, there’s jumping and kicking!
And finally, here’s an epic cliff-side battle, which features a bunch of guys in red suits flying right at the screen, because, hey, 3D.
GI Joe: Retaliation will be released on March 28, 2013.
