Yesterday, The Hunger Games sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire bestowed upon the word a series of character portraits for the improbably-named characters Haymitch Abernathy, Effie Trinket, and Caesar Flickerman, all of which appropriately looked like the kind of creepy and kitschy paintings you’d find in your oddball grandmother’s attic. Now, series hero Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has been given her own portrait, and a really goofy wardrobe to boot.
So, here you go—a wacky future dress for our hero, who is too rebellious to sit in her chair like everybody else:
Directed by Francis Lawrence, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire finds the victorious Katness and Peeta embarking on a Victory Tour of all the districts, while Katniss must prove that her saving both Peeta and herself during the previous Games was an act of love, not part of the growing rebellion which is destabilizing their society. Meanwhile, the president is preparing the 75th Hunger Games, known as Quarter Quell, in which Katniss will be forced to participate. Co-starring Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Jena Malone, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Amanda Plummer, the film is set for a November 22 release.
What do you think of the new portrait?
