Hooray! It’s been announced that today is officially the first day of filming on the set of the highly anticipated Anchorman: The Legend Continues. Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and the rest of the Channel 4 News team will be embarking on another adventure filled with laughs. So yeah, we want set pictures now.

Steve Carrell let the world know that filming has began during his appearance on The Tonight Show. While they’ve been denying rumors as to whether or not John C. Reilly is part of the cast, we know for certain that Meagan Good and Dylan Baker are the latest additions. Good is reported to play the new boss for the Channel 4 team, but no word yet on who Baker will play. They’re the newest part of the growing cast that includes the likes of Kristen Wiig and James Marsden.

Another reassuring thing that came out of Mr. Carrell’s mouth is the lack of change that the entire group has done over the time between the two movies. Ron Burgundy, Brick and the rest of the crew will still be the same as they were before, maybe a little worse in some ways. Now we’re curious to see how they’ll manage in a new, high-paced environment like New York, considering that they’re also dealing with a number of different changes like 24 hour news. They’re setting up the story pieces right, we’re just curious to see how the execution is. Anchorman: The Legend Continues is out in theaters on December 20th.

Which character do you like the most from the Anchorman crew?
