After that great Super Bowl spot and recent trailer we’re revved up for Fast and Furious 6, which can’t get here soon enough. Universal knows they’ve got a powerhouse franchise so they’re already plotting a sixth sequel, and word around the campfire is that they’ve already shot the set up for the next movie. But first, check out the film’s official theatrical trailer.
If you’re wondering what the difference is between this and those other previous spots, it’s mostly timing. The super bowl TV spot was too short, and trailers have to run around two and a half minutes to be attached to other movies. Likely this was made to go in front of A Good Day to Die Hard, as it’s a big action movie, and you want to get that audience pumped for the return of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson.Here’s that trailer:
As for the other thing, Aint It Cool News got word that a super secret cameo was shot for the end of the new movie and that a movie star is being set up as the villain of the next film. As their spoiler reveal tells you what happens at the end of Fast and Furious 6, we won’t recount what they reveal, but if you’re curious, it’s over there. Fast and Furious 6 opens May 24.
