It’s that time of year again—no, not the Academy Awards nominations (that’s tomorrow); rather, it’s time to find out who’s up for a Razzie. In a time-honored tradition (well, since, 1980), the Razzie nominations, honoring the absolute worst films of the year, are announced the day before the Oscar contenders. And the 33rd annual Razzie Awards, pinpointing the worst moments in film for 2012, have some real doozies.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II leads with a whopping 11 nominations, while Battleship also makes a number of appearances, and Razzie mainstays Adam Sander (for That’s My Boy) and Tyler Perry (Alex Cross, Witless Protection) pop up repeatedly, because they make terrible, terrible, terrible films, no matter how many comments wall protestors assert otherwise. Just terrible.
