We’re  roughly a week away from the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Yet Warner Bros. is already teasing fans with their third installment, The Hobbit: There and Back Again. We think it’s a premature move but to each his own.

The cast finished filming The Hobbit: There and Back Again a while ago. So Peter Jackson wants to remind fans that two more movies on the horizon. We’re not saying The Hobbit shouldn’t have been made, but three movies is stretching an already small story. It’s a complaint fans and critics have been voicing for quite some time.

There are many Lord of the Rings fans who will flock to theaters to see this visual spectacle. But we’re curious if they’ll be able to stomach the 48 frames per second. Word has it that it isn’t sitting too well with people who are prone to motion sickness.

We can speculate all we want, but none of us will know how good (or bad) The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is until it’s released. But if you want a second opinion, check out our review.

Below is the first look at Orlando Bloom reprising his role as Legolas, and Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman, In The Hobbit: There and Back Again.

Will you see the entire Hobbit trilogy when it comes out in theaters?
