While many have been on the fence with some of the more recent works of visually enticing filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, he knows how to handle his monsters. All you have to do is look at movies like Hellboy and Pan’s Labyrinth as examples. Now he’s looking to make his mark on the disaster monster sub genre with Pacific Rim. Did we mention that the blueprints for the robots in this film look awesome? Because they do.
Pacific Rim is directed by Guillermo del Toro and has a spectacular cast that includes Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman, Charlie Day and Clifton Collins Jr. If this movie doesn’t already tickle your fancy, then continue reading on to see what it’s all about. When you take a gander at some of these blueprints you think wow, if we were in a futuristic society where this kind of technology was at our fingertips then del Toro and company would be the people you’d talk to about constructing the robot. That and we’d love to operate one of these suckers. Now we’re thinking about what it’d be like to use a real-life Megazord machine against a monster, except a stylish, updated version.
