Last week, we saw the final domestic poster for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 2, in which the three main characters run in place atop a snowy vista, following by some vampires, some of the series’ badly CGI’d wolves, and some pretty thick Photoshop airbrushing.  And, like the series itself, it was tacky, clunky, awkward, and overall designed to manipulate teenage girls (often noted for their discerning taste in cinema) into thinking this is something to spend money on.  But wait, there’s more—now there’s an international poster, with even more Photoshop and the blank, vapid stares we’ve come to know and grudgingly tolerate.

In this poster, instead of a running “action” shot, we get the image that will likely be most associated with the Twilight series of films—three attractive twenty-somethings staring blankly ahead without a trace of charm, chemistry, or emotion.  Of course, that could just be the thick globs of airbrushing that have wiped away any type of solid features from the faces of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.

Oh, and hey, look, there’s a bunch of other vampires standing in the snow.  So that’s something.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 2 is set to open on November 16th, at which point (unless the studios find a way to churn out even more of these things) we can finally all be done with this series.  Here’s hoping.

What do you think of the poster?
