It’s almost here… can you feel it? The end of Twilight. At least the end of Twilight movies. For some it’s a time for reflection, a time to think about this phenomenon, a franchise that was thought to be a joke, and was picked up by a small little studio that was able to leverage their success with the films into being something of a mini-major. On November 16, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 will be released and end this five-year, five-film journey, and now there’s a final poster.

And here it is:

The poster tells us this is “The epic finale that will live forever,” and unless the film proves indestructible, this is a play on Kristen Stewart‘s character Bella now being a vampire, which makes her husband Edward (Robert Pattinson) happy, and BFF Jacob (Taylor Lautner) a little sad (we guess, Mr. Lautner is not a particularly gifted actor).

But as Summit and parent company Lionsgate have mentioned, they’re interested in sequels, spin-offs, or possibly a reboot, so it’s hard to say that this “finale” is the actual end. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 should be a smash hit for everyone involved, which makes the property even harder to walk away from, but for now, let’s just accept that this is the end of the road.

Will you be going to the midnight screening, or a Twilight marathon party?
