It’s go time on Edgar Wright‘s latest The World’s End, which we knew would star Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. But who else is in this cast? Not only does Wright have an eye for talent, he’s been great at getting some of England’s best in his previous movies. As it turns out, he’s added some ringers.

Focus Features, which will be releasing the film in America in 2013, announced that the film started shooting today. And they filled out the cast, which now includes Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan, and Rosamund Pike. We knew Pike would be in the picture, but this is good news all around.

Freeman you might know from the U.K. version of The Office, but is about to be everywhere as Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit. He was also in Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, but those were both cameos. Considine was one of the Andys in Hot Fuzz, but is probably most famous for being the reporter in the Waterloo sequence in The Bourne Ultimatum. Marsan is new to the Wright fold, and did some great work with Mike Leigh while becoming a go to character actor in movies like Miami Vice and the Sherlock Holmes films. Pike was already announced, and will be seen later this year in Jack Reacher (and is still probably best known as a Bond girl in Die Another Day).

Also of note, Wright is re-teaming with his Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World cinematographer Bill Pope. Early word was that we could see the film as early as next April. And though it hasn’t been announced, it’s likely that when Wright is done with this he’ll quickly move on to Ant Man.

Who would you like to see Edgar Wright work with next?
