Yesterday, we showed you the Olympic teaser for the 23rd James Bond flick, Skyfall, and now and now we have the full international trailer. And despite the fact that it appears to have the exact same plot as the first Mission: Impossible film—a secret government agency loses the list of names of all current secret agents in the field—the Sam Mendes-directed Skyfall does look pretty great.
There are plenty of intriguing elements packed in—does M (Judi Dench) order James Bond’s (Daniel Craig) murder? Why is Javier Bardem sporting a foppish blond hairdo, and is he playing Blofeld? Why is Q 12 years old? And, seriously, this is the exact same deux ex machina plot of the first Mission: Impossible, isn’t it?

Not bad, no? Seems like a pretty balanced mesh of what makes Bond great: a cool hero, a wacky villain, globetrotting, pretty gals, and semi-hokey title. Further, that train setpiece does look pretty amazing; and overall, the even when condensed to a two minute trailer, the film appears far more cohesive than A Quantum of Solace.
Skyfall costars Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Rory Kinear, and Albert Finney , and is set for a November 9th release date.
