Well, it finally happened—the long-awaited final entry into Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise, The Dark Knight Rises, had its world premiere in New York City.  And, in case you couldn’t be there—and you probably weren’t—we’ve got the full video of the event below.

While it may not be as thrilling as watching Batman and Bane beat each other into masked and bloody pulps over the fate of a fictional city that looks like a mash-up between New York City and Chicago, you still will get an eyeful of the film’s cast and crew, as well as red carpet interviews that run the gamut from silly Hollywood fluff to a couple of interesting insights into the film itself.

Still, this video will likely only be for the hardcore Bat-fans out there.

The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, and Michael Caine, and is set for a July 20 release.  If there is one hope for a film that will be the summer of 2012’s saving grace, it’s The Dark Knight Rises—so far, this summer has been pretty lackluster in the blockbuster department.  If Batman doesn’t save us this summer, no one will.

What do you think of the video?
