The big news out of Comic-Con‘s Ballroom 20 this morning came at the very end of a lively panel for ABC’s hit show Once Upon A Time: Captain Hook is coming to the show for season two.

All morning co-creators and executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz teased major events for the upcoming season. The question of Henry’s parentage loomed large, as well as which characters might be joining the cast in the coming season, but nothing compared to the final reveal of Hook.

The panel, which featured the aforementioned creators as well as cast members Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Emillie de Ravin and Maghan Ory was footage-happy to say the least.

The panel opened with a teaser trailer made up mostly of scenes from the previous season before treating fans to a few teases of new characters joining the show, via a series of opening credit sequences. We got a few brief, shadowy glimpses that suggested fan favorites like Mulan and a fairly infamous beanstalk that got a huge reaction from the packed panel.

And while the Q&A portion of the panel was appropriately vague, considering the pedigree of the show’s creators (Lost), there was some fun to be had as Lana Parrilla vamped for the crowd, reciting her most famous threat from the show:

“I will destroy you…if it is the last thing I do.”

While the show doesn’t begin filming until this Monday, the cast also brought along a fake internet dating commercial hosted by comedian Paul Scheer (Human Giant, Children’s Hospital) and featuring all of the characters describing their ideal match.
