The biggest thing to come out of the lively (and crowded) Dexter panel at Comic-Con this year, was a clip that offered up the first two minutes of the Season 7 premiere. Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Yvonne Strahovski, John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton and Scott Buck all gathered at Ballroom 20 to give fans the major scoop. We’ve got the clip below, check it out.

As you may recall, at the end of last season Debra discovered her brother’s dirty little secret. It was a shocking finale. Now, season 7 is still a few months away, but Showtime nonetheless let this clip sneak at Comic-Con and even posted it on YouTube afterwards. What do we say kids, ‘Thank you Showtime!’

The two-minute teaser is the beginning of the upcoming premiere and it picks up from the moment Debra sees Dexter stab the knife into Travis Marshall (Colin Hanks). Dexter tries to hide the truth, but Debra isn’t buying it. Here’s the clip, with a whole lot of bleeping:

According to The Washington Post, Hall hopes Deb buys Dexter’s story. He also mentioned that he thinks his character will learn to be more human this season.

The panel also talked about the newcomer Yvonne Strahovski, who will be guest starring this coming season. She didn’t say much about her role, except that her character’s name is Hanna and she’s a “woman of mystery with a dark past.”

Dexter premieres September 30th.
