A scary Prometheus audio clip has been discovered in the lead-up to the June 8th release of Ridley Scott’s much anticipated new sci-fi thriller – and the excitement continues to build as more of its deepest, darkest secrets are revealed.
The audio clip is just part of the movie’s viral campaign, and comes in the form of a creepy crew transmission, in which listeners can hear various members of the Prometheus team being attacked by an unknown assailant. So far, all fans know is that it gets in the throat, breaks limbs, and sounds pretty nasty!
The original recording was delivered backwards, and has been reversed by fans – you can listen to the actual horrifying clip here.
Prometheus was written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof, directed by Ridley Scott, and stars Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace, along with Logan Marshall-Green. It’s been described as an indirect prequel to the Alien movies, and since the latest trailer came out with heavy spoilers, bits and pieces of the story have been coming out concerning Scott’s latest offering, and it’s got eagerly-awaiting fans already craving more. In fact, it’s easily one of the most anticipated films of the year, and the hype is still building.
