Amanda Seyfried‘s new film finds her starring as one of the most famous porn actresses of all time – Linda Lovelace. In the 70s, Lovelace was launched into stardom thanks to Deep Throat, the one movie that almost made porn a mainstream genre (even Jackie O. went to see it). Until now, we’ve only seen a few glimpses of the racy film, but the official Lovelace poster has finally arrived.
For a film that’s suppose to be about a 70s porn star, the poster is actually pretty conservative. Clearly it wasn’t shot by Tyler Shields. All we see is a hint of Seyfried’s shoulder and lace undergarments. Still, Seyfried looks gorgeous and mysterious.
The poster also mentions the talented cast with Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard as the leads. Lined up in alphabetical order, the poster lists actors Hank Azaria, Wes Bentley, Bobby Cannavale, James Franco, Chris Noth, Sarah Jessica Parker, Robert Patrick, Eric Roberts, Chloe Sevigny, Sharon Stone and Juno Temple. (Hey, we’ve got Noth and Parker in the same film again. It’s a Sex and the City reunion.)
Unfortunately, the poster doesn’t give the most important information – an official release date. The IMDB page for Lovelace says that the film will be out in 2012, but that remains to be seen. Here’s the poster:
