Just yesterday, we showed you the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, an adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel of the same name.  Chock full of, well Abraham Lincoln killing vampires while Johnny Cash growled in the background, it was one of the nuttier and bizarre trailers we’ve seen in recent memory.

But then we saw the expanded international trailer…

Featuring additional footage as well as a voice-over appearance by co-star Dominic Cooper, we see even more vampire slayage from our beloved 16th president in a CGI cavalcade of images, with Honest Abe riding a horse and swinging a bigass battle axe at anything that moves but doesn’t have a reflection.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter stars Benjamin Walker as Lincoln, with a supporting cast that includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Alan Tudyk, Anthony Mackie, Rufus Sewell, Erin Wasson and Dominic Cooper.   The film opens on June 22, at which point, again, you will be able to watch Abraham Lincoln kill vampires, which is kind of the definition of both ‘insane’ and ‘cool.’  The plot will feature a young Lincoln watching his mother being killed by vamps, which leads him on a lifelong mission of vengeance, one that takes him all the way to the presidency.  Wild!

What do you think of the new trailer?
