Lindsay Lohan Might Play Sharon Tate In Charles Manson Biopic

While one doesn’t expect a lot of taste or tact in Hollywood, you’d think that, in making a Charles Manson biopic, you could do better than cast Lindsay Lohan as Sharon Tate, which is kind of like casting Charlie Sheen as John F. Kennedy.  But since we live in a world where Lohan might actually star in the new Superman film, nothing makes sense anymore!

According to /Film, Lohan “is now in talks to play the murdered actress Sharon Tate, who was one of the victims of the Manson Family. She’d be in a film about Charles Manson called Eyes of a Dreamer, which photographer Tyler Shields plans to make this summer.”

Even weirder, it turns out this is only one of three films currently in development (which isn’t much, really, when you think about it, since apparently there are 37 versions of Snow White coming out next Friday).

Says Shields:

“Sharon Tate was a movie star. So I want [an actress who] you already have a backstory with. People have a backstory with someone like Lindsay. And I think it’s very relatable.”

Yes, we do have a backstory with Lohan, but considering it’s more of a “seriously, could you quit inhaling blow off the sidewalk long enough for me to get into the bar here?” kind of backstory, perhaps Lohan isn’t the best pick for the role.
