This just gets better and better.

Last week, we reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger announced that he would be starring in a new animated series/ Stan Lee comic book entitled The Governator, which “will mix the real life of the actor/politician with the superhuman exploits of the characters he’s played in films” as Ahnuld battles “the evil organization Gangsters Imposters Racketeers Liars & Irredeemable Ex-cons (or G.I.R.L.I.E. Men).”  Seriously.

And now, the big guy has announced The Governator will be a feature film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Schwarzenegger stated the following:

“’First will come (The Governator) comic books, then a (cartoon) TV series and after that we will develop the games and then a movie,’ Schwarzenegger told a packed room of international journalists at global TV market MipTV in Cannes. ‘Maybe then we’ll be back in Cannes for that.’”

I can’t even begin to put together the words to describe how amazing this is.

Schwarzenegger also announced that he will soon be making a return to live action film, from  “action to comedy to sequels,” meaning that the long awaited Jingle All The Way sequel will finally be coming our way, right?  Right?

No word yet on when clips from The Governator will be released but, believe me, we’ll be all over it once they’re out.

UPDATE: The trailer is now available.  God help us all:

What do you think of The Governator news?
