Just yesterday we reported on Nickelodeon’s plans to air a rebooted “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” cartoon on the network. If that tickled your fancy there are even more vintage goodies to follow. Nick wants to dip into its 90′s vault and dust off some of the classic shows that a lot of us grew up with. According to EW, TeenNick is going retro with favorites like “Rugrats,” “Clarissa Explains it All,” and “All That!”
TeenNick is establishing a new program block called The 90′s Are All That (and they were). It will feature some of the most popular shows of the decade that aired on the network. Besides the ones we previously mentioned, you can tune in for “Kenan & Kel,” “Pete & Pete” and “The Amanda Show.” They’ll air from midnight to 2 am everyday.
Even though we love this current roster, it would be better with the addition of “Hey Dude,” “Salute Your Shorts,” and “Doug!”We wish NBC would come up with an idea like this for one of their many cable channels. We’d love to see a block dedicated to old TNBC shows with “Saved by the Bell,” “Hang Time,” and “City Guys.” Those were the days.
What do you think of TeenNick’s new roster? Will you watch?
