Last week, we brought you a couple new photos from Wes Craven’s latest horror flick Scream 4. It’s a follow up to the original trilogy that ended over 10 years ago and once again stars Neve Campbell as heroine Sidney Prescott. Sticking with tradition, all of the posters for this movie have had with the same aesthetic as the previous films. The latest one sheet to join the growing roster of marketing materials is an international (Mexican) poster. Check it out…
Scream 4 will kick-start a new trilogy in the franchise that will begin with Campbell’s character Sidney and end with Emma Roberts character Jill. Jill is Sidney’s cousin who will inadvertently inherit the wrath of Ghostface for the foreseeable future.
The cast will also includes Hayden Panettiere, Marielle Jaffe, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, Erik Knudsen, Marley Shelton, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody, Alison Brie, Mary McDonnell, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Brittany Roberts.
Now on to this hideous poster:
Doesn’t this look like the worst cut and paste job you’ve ever seen? We get what they’re trying to do but it comes across as cheap and uninspired. We want some showmanship. A little creativity. Not a regurgitated version of the previous posters with bad photoshop. Come on guys, you can do better.
Scream 4 opens in theaters everywhere on April 15th.
What do you think of the new international poster for Scream 4?
