The guest stars continue to flock to “Glee” like moths to a flame. The latest actor to make an appearance on the series is Kathy Griffin according to CNN. The former “Life on the D-List” star and stand up comedian will play a character heavily inspired by former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Do those two look alike? Nope. Do they sound alike? Nope. So we’re interested in seeing how they pull this one off!

The site claims that Griffin will play a character named Tammy Jean, who happens to be one of the judges at the Regional competition. We don’t mean to judge a book by it’s cover, or in this case name, but “Tammy Jean” speaks volumes about the character. Movieline described her as “a middle-aged ‘recent Tea Party candidate and home-schooler — a Sarah Palin type.’”

If you think that’s an interesting casting choice, Loretta Devine (For Colored Girls) will also appear in the episode as a judge. She’ll play a former stripper, who’s now a reformed nun. Besides her film work, Devine has a strong background in theater, with one of her most notable credits being the original stage production of “Dreamgirls.”

What do you think of Griffin and Devine guest starring on Glee? Will you watch?
