It’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything about HBO’s “True Blood.” The vampire series has been on hiatus since last year, but during the down time its casting producers have been working like dogs — or should we say werewolves? The bloated cast continues to grow with the addition of another Lycan according to TVLine.
The site claims that Daniel Buran, who previously appeared on “CSI: NY,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Southland,” has landed the role of Raoul, the werewolf packmaster of Shreveport. In other words, he’ll probably play Alcide’s boss. This will be a sight to see considering how tall, strong, and imposing Alcide is.
We’ve never seen Buran’s earlier work so we’re not sure if he’s big and bad enough to play such a powerful force in the werewolf hierchy. Is this character even in the “True Blood” books? If so, how is he described? Calling all fans of the novels, what can you tell us about the character and his portrayal by Buran?
The fourth season of “True Blood” should debut sometime this summer on HBO. Are you ready?
What do you think of Buran? Have you seen any of his other work?
