Over the past few weeks, ABC has been fast tracking the development of their “Charlie’s Angels” reboot. The main three actresses have already been cast and they’re Annie Ilonzeh, Minka Kelly, and Racheal Taylor. Next, there was a huge void left for who would play their handler John Bosley, and the golden voice Charlie Townsend. The latter character hasn’t been confirmed but the new Bosley has and he’s none other than Ramon Rodriguez!

According to EW, Rodriguez has joined the cast of the new “Charlie’s Angels” as the assistant to Mr. Townsend and the liaison between him and the women. The role was previously played by David Doyle in the television series, Bill Murray in the 2000 feature adaptation, and Bernie Mac in the 2003 sequel, Full Throttle.

We can admit that in the film versions, the actors chosen for Bosely have definitely wavered from Doyle but Rodriguez is pushing it. He’s young, attractive…and did we mention young? Bosley needs to be older and more of a mentor than a peer. This is an interesting casting choice that proves that they’re definitely going into another direction with the tone of the show.

What do you think of Rodriguez as the new Bosley?
