Brendan Gleeson, Robert Patrick, Liam Cunningham Join Safe House
By Krystal Clark
Three more actors have signed on to star alongside Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds in the upcoming drama, Safe House. According to The Wrap, the duo will be joined by Brendan Gleeson, Robert Patrick, and Liam Cunningham. Prior to this announcement, country singer Tim Mcgraw was confirmed to co-star as well as Sam Shepard, and Ruben Blades.
Safe House centers on the only surviving agent of an attack on a CIA safe house (Reynolds) as he tries to get a lethal prisoner (Washington) to a second safe house before being taken out by violent forces that want them both dead. Daniel Espinosa is directing the movie, which was written by David Guggenheim.
Is it just us, or is this a very crowded house? And yes, that was a pun on the eighties band of the same name. We’re assuming that some of them will be a part of the CIA and others will be villains. When we interviewed Mcgraw a couple months ago, he stated that he looks forward to shooting people and being in something so action packed.
We’re happy see Robert Patrick in something legitimate again. He’s our favorite Terminator villain, and he’s chosen some questionable projects over the past decade. It’s good to see him return to quality films.
What do you think of the latest additions to Safe House?

I never heard of these other actors, but I know this film is being done in South Africa.does seem odd that they need more actors in it. oh,well,I am sure when it is finally done,it will be a good film,it is suppose to be released in 2012. Tim is taking his family with him when he does his part. he said he will be filming the whole month of March, not the whole month,he has a gig march 7th.
