A new poster has been released for DreamWorks Animation’s highly anticipated sequel Kung-Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom. The film marks the return of Jack Black and Angelina Jolie, as well as the addition of a few new voices such as Jean-Claude Van Damme and Gary Oldman. Back in November we got a sneak peek at a teaser trailer for the film and now we’ve got an amazing new one-sheet! Take a look…

We like this poster. It reminds us of something else but we can’t put our finger on it. Do you know of a poster that has a similar angle and action? This can’t be the only one. We like how they’re all charging towards one thing. They’re all headed towards the release date!

Official Synopsis:

Po is now living his dream as The Dragon Warior, protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five – Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey.  But Po’s new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu.

It is up to Po and The Furious Five to journey across China to face this threat and vanquish it.  But how can Po stop a weapon that can stop kung fu?  He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will he be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.

Kung Fu Panda 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 27, 2011 and it will be in 3D.
