Melissa Leo took home the award for Best Supporting Actress at this year’s Golden Globes for her performance in David O. Russell’s The Fighter. She played Alice Ward, the crass, white-trash mother of Micky Ward and Dicky Eklund in the boxing drama. She also won in this same category at the Critics Choice Awards, which were held on Friday.
