Just when we thought Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II was complete we’ve learned that there was more work to be done. Apparently some reshoots were recently shot by the primary cast members to revamp the epilogue sequence that appears at the end of the film. Daniel Radcliffe said that they needed to make some changes to the footage because there wasn’t enough coverage and the original was a bit rushed.
A while ago some spoilerish photos surfaced online that featured Potter and his three friends dressed in prosthetic make up in what appeared to be the said epilogue. Most of us who saw the images thought they were subpar. With the technology and the money at their disposal the product didn’t match up with the price tag. Therefore, we think the negative criticism from fans may have also had something to do with their decision to go back.
On another note [spoiler alert], two young actors have been revealed to play a couple of important roles in the film. One is of a young Snape, who’ll be played by Benedict Clarke, and the other is Scorpius Malfoy, the son of Draco, who’ll be played by Bertie Gilbert.
Spoiler Alert: Here are the photos from the previous epilogue shoot:
Why do you think the epilogue was reshot? What do you think of the two new actors?
