If you caught this week’s episode of “Saturday Night Live” you were in for a rare treat. The show, which has been steadily declining in the humor department, was actually funny! The host was Anne Hathaway and they churned out some pretty solid sketches that mocked the recent engagement of Prince William, and the new too close for comfort TSA policy being enforced at airports. SNL decided to to poke fun at the groping practices of homeland security and things got hot and heavy. If you haven’t seen it already, check out the video below…

If you’re wondering what all the fuss is about let us get you up to speed. Recently several complaints have been thrown in the TSAs direction over their pat down security practices. Because of the holiday season, they’re taking extra precautions to ensure that everyone has a safe flight to their destination. This sounds great in writing but some travellers are being thoroughly embarrassed by their actions.

A bladder cancer survivor’s urostomy bag was partially opened after a rough pat down in an airport causing some of his urine to spill. Then there was a woman who had to show her prosthetic breast to an agent before she could get on her plane. Incidents like these plus their creepy full body scans have people on edge. Instead of feeling safe and secure, it feels like you’ve been taken advantage of at a college party.
