Wednesday, Disney released two photos from their upcoming animated feature Winnie the Pooh. The staple character hasn’t been at the forefront of a film in years, and no 2005′s Hufflelump Movie doesn’t count in our book! This film brings together all the old school favorites including Rabbit, Tigger, Piglet, and poor, poor Eeyore. Take a look…

Walt Disney Animation Studios returns to the Hundred Acre Wood with “Winnie the Pooh,” the first big-screen Pooh adventure from Disney animation in more than 35 years. With the charm, wit and whimsy of the original featurettes, this all-new movie reunites audiences with the philosophical “bear of very little brain” and his friends.

Some of the vocal talents may sound different because the entire original cast of Pooh isn’t featured. See if you can spot who’s doing what voice.

The most obvious voice we picked out was Owl. He’s being played by late night host and comedian Craig Ferguson, which seems a little weird but somehow he fits. One of the negative voice changes is Christopher Robin, granted he’s supposed to be a kid (child actors have to constantly be switched out), but he sounds like more of a girl than a boy here. Sorry, young actor.

Winnie the Pooh is scheduled for release on July 15, 2011.
