Monday, November 8th was the day that we’ve all been waiting for. It’s when Conan O’Brien returned to late night television after almost a year off the air. The comedian has left network television behind (we’re looking at you NBC) and has started anew on cable with a little help from the folks over on TBS. If you missed O’Brien’s small screen premiere don’t worry, we’ve got his hilarious introduction below…
The opening sketch is entitled “The Last Season on Conan” and it starts out similar to the final episode of “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.” There’s a shoot out and several guest appearances from celebrities including “Mad Men’s” Jon Hamm. Speaking of Hamm, can that man just do a comedy already? We get that he’s a great dramatic actor but he’s got a real gift when it comes to making people laugh.
Check out the opening of “Conan” and tell us whether or not it delivers:
What the hell was Larry King doing in this video? Didn’t he retire from his show (or isn’t he about to)? He seemed like a random choice to be giving out advice but we’ll let that slide.
“Conan” airs on TBS at 11 pm
Did you watch the Conan premiere? Did it deliver?
