We’ve known for a while that Nicolas Cage would be returning to the role of Johnny Blaze in Sony’s Ghost Rider sequel, but today we’ve finally got some solid proof from the film’s set. The Oscar winning actor is back on his bike and draped in leather for the follow up to the 2007 Marvel adaptation titled Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. We’ve been lucky enough to score some behind the scenes photos from the set as well as some amateur video that shows Cage as he prepares for the ride of his life. Take a look…
In the sequel Spirit of Vengeance, Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider (Cage), is hiding out in remote Eastern Europe and struggling to repress his curse. Blaze is recruited by a sect to take on the devil, who wants to take over his mortal son’s body on the boy’s birthday. The film co-stars Ciarán Hinds, Idris Elba and Violante Placido and is directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.
What are we going to do about that hair? In the first Ghost Rider Blaze had a hairline that was overly distracting and in this one it looks like they just dipped Cage’s head in some hair dye and called it a day. Will they ever get it right?
