I love fall, not because of the Holidays but because it brings about the release of tons of great independent films, one of which is Cherry, a coming of age story about Aaron, a nerdy kid with a bright who goes to college and becomes obsessed with one thing and one thing only — women. Unexpectedly he finds himself falling for an older, albeit extremely attractive woman and as their relationship develops her 14 year-old daughter develops a crush on him and starts causing trouble.

Let the sex jokes commence!

The film features numerous stars that you’ve probably seen before from the world of T.V including the main lead Aaron, played by Kyle Gallner a regular on the hit series “Veronica Mars”, Laura Allen From FX’S hit show “Terriers”, Esai Morales of “NYPD BLUE”, and Matt Walsh from none other than “The Daily Show”.

Cherry has made it’s way through the festival circuit, screening as festivals as big as SXSW in 2010. The film opens in NYC on November 5th and hopefully will spread to more theaters after that! If you’re in NY, support the film and help it get out into the world!

What do you think of Cherry? Will you go to see it if it plays in your town?
