They came, they saw, the conquered. Jon Stewart from “The Daily Show” and Stephen Colbert from “The Colbert Report” have a lot more power than people think. There’s a reason Stewart was named the most influential man of 2010. The hosts got together on October 30th to headline their “Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear,” which took place on the Mall in Washington DC. According to estimates over 215,000 people attended the event that makes Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor Rally” and its 87,000 attendees look like child’s play.

One of the highlights of the rally were the various segments put on by Stewart and Colbert. One of them was taken directly from “The Colbert Report” entitled, “Formidable Opponent.” It’s where the comedic duo went at each other’s throats to debate sanity vs fear. And like the two irrational people that they are, it went off topic in more ways then one. Somehow Star Wars got involved and even former professional basketball player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar got in to it. What the hell was he doing there? Check out the video to see them all in action.
