Lebron James continues to look for redemption in the eyes of those he supposedly wronged by moving to Miami. The basketball player left the Cleveland Cavaliers to play for the Miami Heat, and he’s experienced some serious negative press since he made the decision. In his latest commercial for Nike he begs the question, “What should I do?” And Miami legend Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) is there to share some wise words of wisdom. Take a look…
There are so many things about this commercial that are hilarious but Don Johnson’s random appearance takes the cake. We were not expecting him to pop up in this ad. After watching him play a burly racist and murderer in Machete, it’s a welcome change to see him reprise his role as the cool, calm, and collected Sonny.
The real question is, why after 20 plus years does he still look good? Yes, he has aged but overall, he’s still got the Sonny swagger that we all fell in love with. The only thing that could have made this better is if they’d shown him wearing slip on shoes with no socks. That’s the Miami way!
What do you think of Johnson’s appearance in the Nike commercial with Lebron James? Did you expect to see him in the video?
