Sam Rockwell is one of the most talented (and underrated) actors working today. He can do drama and comedy with the flip of a switch and after his heavy role in this fall’s Conviction, he needs a break. The actor has just signed on to co-star in the 20th Century Fox comedy The Sitter, which is headlined by our favorite curly haired actor, Jonah Hill.

In The Sitter, Hill plays a college dropout who agrees to watch three bratty children as a favor to his mother. “He’s forced to take kids with him while he scores some drugs for a girl, but when the deal goes bad, the night turns into a wild chase through New York City, where Hill proves his mettle as a babysitter.” Guess who’s going to play the drug dealer? Sam Rockwell!

Rockwell has landed the part of the film’s villain, and he’ll be joined by his Conviction co-star Ari Graynor, who’ll play the female lead. The cast also includes comedian JB Smoove, and Max Records (Where the Wild Things Are), Kevin Hernandez and newcomer Landry Bender as the three children.

David Gordon Green will direct The Sitter, which is based on a screenplay written by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka.
