In a little less than a month, Conan O’Brien will be back on the small screen doing what he does best — making us laugh. The former host of “The Tonight Show,” will begin his new late night venture on November 8th on TBS and he’s bringing his old sidekick with him. It’s been confirmed that Andy Richter will be a huge part of the revamped “Conan” and we couldn’t be happier!
Today TBS released an official statement, regarding Richter’s return and as usual it was filled with comedy. Both O’Brien and Richter gave quotes about their feelings towards each other and their working relationship. O’Brien said, “This decision was made without my authority. I will get to the bottom of this.” Oh Conan, we know you miss your buddy!
As for Richter, he gives the impression that he hasn’t seen much of the world since he left O’Brien’s side. He claims that he’s excited about ”getting out of the house again.” The awkwardly shaped duo first worked together back in 1993, and have reunited on and off again for various occasions. We can’t wait to see them back in action. Hopefully, this time they stick!
Are you excited about Andy Richter’s return?
