Good news to report for those of you who are fans of the FX biker series, “Sons of Anarchy.” The network has picked it up for another season. Even though the Emmys and Golden Globes continue to ignore its greatness, viewers are eating it up. Because of its high ratings and talented cast, it’s a no brainer as to why the network plans to renew it.
Despite what you might have heard, “Sons of Anarchy” is the highest rated original program on the FX network. It pulls in an average 4.9 million viewers each week. If you don’t believe me, check out what FX president and general manager John Landgraf had to say about the show.
‘Sons of Anarchy’ is the most popular show FX has ever had, and the No. 1 series in basic cable for our key demographic. It is also one of the best, most original series on television. FX is grateful to [creator] Kurt Sutter and his team of writers, actors, directors and crew for working so hard to make a show that achieves both those levels of success.”
There you go! “Sons of Anarchy” is currently in its third season with the next episode airing on October 12th. The season finale will premiere on November 30th.
