The other day Warner Bros released 3 character banners for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I and now they’ve debuted the film’s theatrical poster. It features our trio of wizards on the move trying to escape the danger nipping at their feet. It has some of the same elements found in the previous posters with the color, tone, and those annoying fire sparks that seem to pop up on every poster these days. Check out the full one sheet below…

The tagline for the new poster reads, “The End Begins.” How many studios have already used that statement to sell their movies? Seriously, we’ve seen it for films, video games, even in comic books. It’s starting to lose it’s appeal. In terms of the actual image, what do you think the ash represents? The demise of Hogwarts?  [Spoiler alert] The school will be burned to a crisp and it looks like the fire alludes to that.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I opens in theaters on November 19th and Part II opens on July 15, 2011. Both films are directed by David Yates.

What do you think of the poster for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I?
