Justin Timberlake has been busy promoting his latest film The Social Network, and he stopped by “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” to talk it up and bust a rhyme. That’s right, Justin Timberlake was lured back into his first love of music by Fallon and his house band The Roots. Watch what happens when they decide to take a trip down hip hop memory lane…
There were a lot of hits on the Fallon/Timberlake music roster starting with Sugar Hill Gang’s “Rappers Delight,” the duo rounded through all the classics including Beastie Boys “Paul Revere,” and Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, “Ain’t Nothin’ but a G Thang.” They included the new school favorites as well with Eminem’s “Slim Shady,” Missy Elliott’s “Work It” and T.I. featuring Rihanna, “Live Your Life.”
Even though the performance wasn’t 100 percent flawless like Timberlake’s usual concerts it was a friendly reminder that he’s still got it. I own both of his solo albums and he makes solid music, I think it’s time for him to take a break from acting and get back to what he does best.
P.S.: The voices that they use to imitate each rapper is hilarious!
